Tennis Lessons with Jason Johnson
Sutter Lawn's Tennis Pro, Jason Johnson, has played high school and college tennis. Jason attended Cal State University Chico where he was a member of the tennis team. He earned his bachelors degree in physical education with a certificate in exercise psychology and a minor in business. After graduating he spent eight years as head tennis pro at Yuba City Racquet Club. In 2002 he moved to Sacramento and became the pro at Sutter Lawn Tennis Club. Jason is a certified USPTA Professional 1 and teaches all levels of tennis in private, group or tennis camp settings. He is particularly talented at teaching young children, introducing the basics to new tennis players, and launching beginners into a skilled level of play.
"The only player I can't help is the player who is unwilling to change in order to get better," says Johnson. "That's why I like working with young children. They learn something new in every lesson." Quote was taken from the August 2010 issue of "Inside East Sacramento". You can find past publications at their website, www.insidepublications.org.
