A mixed doubles tournament.
Calcutta Tournament – April
Blind draw adult mixed doubles tournament. Individual players are bisqued and combined for a team bisque. All rounds up to the semifinals are played on Saturday. Saturday evening a dinner is held for all club members where Calcutta style bets to each semifinalist, 25% to the finalist and 40% to the finalist. 5% is reserved for the house to cover miscellaneous expenses. The names of members of the betting reams are provided to the club which charges losing teams and credits winning teams via their club billing. EVENTS SIGNUP PAGE
Central Cal (USTA Event) – May
USTA Adult League Tennis For men and women 18 years of age and older, with local, district and section championships, culminating in a national championship. NTRP levels include 2.5, 3.0, 3.5, 4.0. Team match format consists of two singles matches and three doubles matches, except for the 2.5 divisions, which play one singles match and two doubles matches.

4th of July
Adult/Junior blind draw mixed doubles tournament. Adult men team up with junior girls and vice versa. Bisqued format. Play occurs the weekend prior to the 4th of July with semi’s and finals played on the afternoon of the 4th with the pot luck that follows. This pot luck has differed from regular pot lucks in that members bring salads to share and their own main course. Past winners have received either a small trophy or a gift certificate which are paid from proceeds. EVENTS SIGNUP PAGE

Turkey Tournament (Jr./Sr. Event) – November
Blind draw pick-your-partner adult/junior mixed doubles. Adult men pair with junior girls and vice versa in a bisqued format. Held in the weeks leading up to Thanksgiving . Each player of the winning team receives a turkey. EVENTS SIGNUP PAGE
Bisque Method: Early bisquing was maintained by previous tennis Pro for each club player, adding the numbers together once the blind draws were completed. A more recent bisquing method started by Jason has the team who is behind after the first game of the match, start at 15 – love. For each game a team is behind in the set score they begin each game with one point. So, if the set score is love – 3, the team behind will start the game at 40 – love.
